Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, password credentials, shipping addresses, profile details, seller application details, and information you submit when contacting or transacting with sellers.

When you choose Google sign-in, we receive basic account information that you authorize Google to share, such as your name, email address, and profile identifier. We do not receive your Google password.

We also collect marketplace activity needed to operate Ventra, including cart contents, wishlist items, orders, reviews, notifications, and basic technical data such as browser and request information.

How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve the Ventra marketplace.
• Create and manage customer and seller accounts.
• Process checkout, delivery, order tracking, and support flows.
• Authenticate users, including users who choose Google sign-in.
• Prevent misuse, investigate issues, and comply with legal duties.

Payments

Card payments may be handled by Stripe through its hosted checkout experience. Ventra does not store full card numbers. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy practices.

How we share information

We share information only when needed to provide the marketplace, such as with sellers fulfilling an order, payment and infrastructure providers, or authorities when legally required. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Ventra, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update account details in your account settings. You can also stop using Google sign-in by removing Ventra access from your Google account permissions. Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as Ventra evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
